Still lovin life here in the Isa. I feel like I've been here forever, like it is so very much my home, it's great. I've unpacked and tried to repack my car in a more orderly fashion haha and working out where the hell all my shit is going to go when it gets here. If it gets here lol
Oh btw, Odie is now my husband - he's been chatting to/up one of the neighbours and her husband got the shits (as you would), cracked it a little and wasn't speaking to the boys and giving them evils. Now that I'm here and he thinks I am Odie's wife, he is all friendly again. LOL how funny. We also have to play happy families to look at a house on Monday for the four of us... when Odie told the real estate he was looking for a 4br house, she made an assumption "Oh, for the wife and kids?" haha he just kind of went along with it. I'd say we've got a better chance of getting it that way, they'd probably rather rent to a 'family' than a bunch of singles i guess. Fingers crossed, cause the house sounds awesome - 2 storey, pool etc.
So there are now two dirt bikes (not sure if thats the correct nomenclature but anyway) in our living room, Daniel bought one as well.
Odie & Daniel went out for a spin the other day, and Odie was 'showing Daniel how to ride', doing a massive mono and then the bike flipped and he skidded along the dirt for a bit. Apparently a close call, he could have been seriously broken, he couldn't breathe for a bit. When they got back, Od was orange with the red dirt all over his face and everything - he had ripped his pants and shirt and has a MASSIVE cut/graze down his back, and his elbows too. It's insane. And kinda gross. But of course, being a boy, he's quite proud of his war wounds haha. I get the joy of changing the dressing on it for him and inflicting pain with the dettol. Pictures to come - i lost my camera for a day or two so I've only got a photo on my phone at this stage.
EDIT: Here's a photo, mind you, that's now after 5 days of 'healing' Ouch much??
But I do have some other photos: Our first dinner together on Monday nite (spag bol of course)
Some photos from outside the front of our house:
The Racecourse is across the road (lots of DIRT) and home to the big Mt Isa Rodeo, something to look forward to in August!
Havent been getting much sleep - Daniel keeps me awake all night chatting in my ear LOL and we've been partying a bit this week, having loads of fun . Last night we went around to a friends place - played some music, sat around a bonfire, drinking etc it was pretty fun, then Od and I went to the nightclub at the Irish, then on to "The Club" afterwards (where everyone goes at the end of the night, its the last place open).
Photos from last night:
urghhh not a good look (for me) Od looks good tho. And this was EARLY in the night....
Those boys were crazy last night. The dog was gorgeous though. His name is Padlock haha
Sam and Daniel. You are a fool, boy
Oh dear
Nah it was a good night though. I do feel a little seedy today however. The boys have gone to watch a mate play soccer. And I'm still waiting for these damn removalists to turn up.

I thought of you this morning as I lay in my sick bed (flu... blech) watching the latest episodes of Doctor Who (which were downloaded from the UK by a mate - bless him).
You see, the Doctor's assistant from two Christmas episodes ago is back. Her (full) name is exactly the same as yours.
Uncanny.
Oh and I hope your furniture has arrived by now. I just booked removalists for next week - luckily my stuff is only going a brief distance so (touch wood) should not go astray!
x
I know, a friend told me about that a little while ago - how rude of them!! LOL I DON'T EVEN LIKE DR WHO!!!!
Where and why are u moving lovely??
Oh how can you not like the Doctor?? Its David Tennant! He's so lovely!
Our landlord is selling the house, so I'm going to be storing my stuff at a friends, housesitting for a couple of months and then I'm heading off to Europe for a holiday! So I'll avoid paying rent until at least October. Hurrah!
